Our breath is our Life Force. It is the most vital aspect of our existence and yet most of the time it only remains a mechanical action. As we become more conscious of our breath, it can lead us to such a level of self-awareness that can be a life changing experience.

As we breathe, we think and feel, and vice versa. Our thoughts and feelings are deeply integrated with our breath. We breathe different when we are stressed, joyous or sad. Our breath can be a very powerful tool in making positive changes to our mind and body. Pranayama, is an ancient science which teaches us to consciously breathe in a way that elevates our understanding of ourselves and every aspect of our life, leading to our well-being and mindfulness. There are many different techniques of breathing and enhancing our wellness.

Meditation is not just an act but a state of being. Getting our mind, body, emotions and energies to certain heightened levels will lead to meditation organically. The necessary atmosphere we create within, leads to this blissful experience. There are many ways to meditate and there are endless benefits of meditation. The most important blessing that comes with meditating is, we are able to master our mind. Once we are able to control our thoughts and feelings, we are able to have an improved focus. Meditation is experienced in quiet, however being meditative can be a continuous process throughout the day, overflowing into every routine, act and chore. By being meditative during the day, we become completely involved in anything that we do. Walking amidst nature itself is a joyous experience but if can be meditative while doing so, it becomes a healing experience. A relaxed and composed mind is naturally going to make the right choices and decisions for our overall well-being.

Yoga means ‘Union’. Union of the mind, body and soul. Again, Yoga is not just a physical act but a quality. A quality which you can integrate consciously into every aspect of life. Yoga is not an exercise but an experience of oneness in our existence. A beautiful experience where we become one with ourselves and everything around us. Asanas are only one aspect of Yoga. Yoga asanas help us understand the mechanics of our body and direct the energy to any specific area or direction. When we get our body into different postures with awareness, we elevate our consciousness.
